What can I expect at the Barcelona Zoo? 
Barcelona Zoo first opened in 1892 and covers nearly 32 acres of space within Parc de la Ciutadella in the city. The zoo is home to lions, gorillas, hippopotamuses, rhinoceroses, giraffes and elephants and is separated by region. For example, you can visit Madagascar and find examples of species native to that nation.

Barcelona Zoo is home to over 4,000 animals from over 400 species including dolphins, tropical birds, reptiles, and the descendants of the famous albino gorilla Snowflake, who died in 2003.     

How do I get my tickets? 
Soon after you have completed your booking your e-ticket will be sent to your email address.  Please print out your ticket and bring it with you to Barcelona Zoo. 

Are there children's rates? 
Yes, children's rates are available for children from 3 to 12 years old. Children ages 0-2 years are free when accompanied by a paying adult.
